My wife and I selected Randy for our backyard renovation project here in El Dorado Hills. We are beyond thrilled with the results, and the project has completely transformed our home. About the Project Our project was a complete backyard renovation. Everything existing was removed to the dirt and the space regraded. Our goal was to transform an unfunctional space into a vibrant extension of our living space. The design involved new concrete; new shade structures with outdoor fans; installation of a fire pit; new outdoor kitchen; new ground lighting and irrigation; and new plantings. In our case, we had two situations involving water features that had to be implemented slightly differently than as designed. In both cases, Randy and his team came up with alternatives that actually made the final product better than designed. Texting Randy always resulted in a response or call back same day. Randy is a plant guru! While Randy directed and supervised all phases of the project, he laid out the plantings personally! And he obsessed over it. He laid every planting out for us, and then went back and changed things to enhance the visual effect. Then he made several mods after we had plants in the ground. Plantings were an area where we decided to extend our budget a bit, and we are glad we did. Ultimately, we used over 25 different species and 150 individual plantings. Our yard looks like a resort!
